Meet the featuring flutist and award-winning author, Gemma Stemley. Gemma left her home country in the Caribbean to pursue higher education. She is now a citizen of the US. Her quest has been to discover whether this new place is home and whether there can be more than one place an immigrant can call home. If so what of the birthplace where the ancestors are buried. Is that still home?

During the presentation, she will play calypso, which is the music of the Caribbean originated in Trinidad and Tobago. Also, her book "Finding Home: A Sentimental Journey" will be available to purchase on the day of the program.

Free and open to teens and adults. Registration is required.

This program has been made possible thanks to the generous support of the William Z. Nasri family.
