Plant Based Pittsburgh South is a group of people who are primarily plant-based, interested in going plant-based, curious about plant-based eating or accompanying a friend who is interested in the lifestyle.

A lapsit storytime especially for babies 0-18 months and their caregivers. Very short stories are interspersed with songs, rhymes, and fingerplays for babies and parents. A brief playtime follows. No registration is required.

This is the last Book Donation Day before the Annual Used Book Sale, and the last one in 2025. Please note this collection will be held on the second Saturday of the month.

From the tiny Screech Owl to the “tiger of the sky” Great Horned Owl, explore the amazing characteristics of Pennsylvania's eight owl species.

The library board meets on the third Tuesday of every month. This meeting will take place via Zoom webinar and in-person in the Sycamore/Hemlock Room. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Calling all tiny ghosts, goblins, witches and sprites! It's Halloween time at the library! At this very special storytime, we'll read Halloween books, sing spooky songs and dance like funky skeletons!

Join author and historian Thomas White as he explores the history and cultural meaning behind some of our region’s supernatural legends.

You never know what you might find hiding in the library: spooky ghosts, creepy spiders, wicked witches and more!

Join us for a Saturday afternoon of creativity as participants explore Ukrainian culture through the art of crafts while learning elementary Ukrainian vocabulary, listening to traditional songs, and understanding cultural significance.

Put your game face on, it's football season! Stop in anytime during our regular hours and participate in this fun football themed scavenger hunt! All kids who complete the scavenger hunt will win a prize.

Reading doesn't have to be a solitary activity when you join our book club! Pick up a copy of the monthly book selection at the library front desk or download the e-book ahead of time.
