Program Description

Body

Impressionist painter and Pittsburgh native Mary Cassatt was a master of many art forms, including monoprints. Learn how to make your own prints and about the life of one of the most important women in art history with this craft kit. Children and teens ages 6 to 17 are invited to come in on Saturday, March 8 to pick up an art kit during the hours of 10am to 5pm as long as supplies last. There will be limited numbers and we will not be able to hold kits. Adults picking up for children who are not present will be limited to 2 kits per adult. If we do run out, we will have instructions on how to make your own, which only requires small amounts of paint, paper and foam.

Everyone who participates will receive information on how to submit your artwork for display in the library!
