Join us for a rain barrel workshop presented by Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC). Participants will learn how to harvest rainwater from their roofs, store it, and use it in the landscape. You will also learn how to reduce your contribution to combined sewer overflow (CSO), flooding, and polluted urban runoff by learning how to practice watershed protection and conservation in their own backyards. It’s easier than you think! Registrants may also choose to purchase a FreeGarden RAIN barrel with their workshop ticket. This barrel has a 55-gallon capacity and is ideal for urban and suburban areas. The cost for the workshop only is $20 per person and for the workshop + rain barrel is $80 per person.
Registration is required and will be handled exclusively through PRC's website. To sign up, please visit https://prc.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/prc/event.jsp?event=1244&.
*Please note: Registration limited to the first 40 people and closes on May 20th. at 8am. Shortly after completing the registration form, a confirmation email will be sent with additional details.
